- Fitz Roy Massif – El Calafate – Paine Towers – Ushuaia
DAY 1 – Buenos Aires
Arrival to Buenos Aires. Greeting and meeting at Ezeiza International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Discover Buenos Aires known as “European city” of South America visiting all main highlights: Pink House, Parliament, La Boca, San Telmo and the exclusive Recoleta area. Welcome Dinner.
DAY 2 – El Chalten
After breakfast transfer to the airport. Arriving to El Calafate. Visit a mountain village El Chalten on the way to Fitz Roy Massif. Driving across the Patagonian steppe to the Hosteria in El Chalten.
DAY 3 – Fitz Roy Mount
After breakfast visit the base-camp of the Fitz Roy. Short drive to the trail in Rio Electrico. Walk along the river Rio Blanco with fantastic view of the glacier Piedras Blancas. Optional walk up (400m) to isolated lagoon Laguna de Los Tres surrounded by Glaciers. Box – lunch. In the afternoon walk down to Capri Lagoon with stunning views of Fitz Roy (3405m). Walk finishes at Hosteria in Chalten. (7 hours walking).
DAY 4 – Cerro Torre Mount – Calafate
After breakfast visit trekking area Cerro Torre with a beautiful views to the one of the world’s hardest mountains. Enjoy the Fitz Roy river canyon and beautiful waterfalls with excellent views of Cerro Torre. During the first stop (at 1.30 h from El Chaltén) discover a spectacular view to Cerro Torre, glaciers and the Adelas. Box – lunch. Returns to El Chaltén after 3 hours trekking. As an option you can continue walking (1 hour) through a charming valley. The highlights of the hike are: Base Camp De Agostini, Torre Lagoon, Cerro Torre with a magnificent view, Egger, Standhard, Bifida and the Adelas with stunning glaciers spilling into the lagoon. Arriving by bus to El Calafate. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY 5 – Perito Moreno Glacier
After breakfast full day excursion to the one of the few advancing glaciers Perito Moreno were huge icebergs from the glacier collapse into the Lake. Enjoy a unique experience watching the roar of the gigantic ice rocks falling and crashing into the waters of the channel. Return to the Hotel in El Calafate.
DAY 6 – Paine Nat Park
After breakfast early morning departure from El Calafate to the National Park in Chile Torres del Paine. Enjoy a spectacular landscape of the Patagonian steppe with plenty of wildlife. Cross the border at Cancha Carrera we will visit several panoramic viewpoints of the Nordenskjöld Lake and the Paine Horns. Overnight at Hosteria in the Nat Park.
DAY 7 – Trek to the Towers base-camp
After breakfast drive to Laguna Amarga. Laguna Amarga is part of the southern Central Volcanic Zone is one of the several Miocene-Pliocene-Pleistocene centers of this volcanic region. Hike to Las Torres base camp and enjoy unforgettable landscapes. Visit natural amphitheater Las Torres Viewpoint (2800m, walk aprox 8 hrs).
DAY 8 – Day at leisure
Breakfast. Day at leisure in the Park. Optional treks and excursions: Grey Lake & Glacier, Trek to Frances Valley.
DAY 9 – Drive Paine Nat Park to Punta Arenas
After breakfast in the morning depart to the fishing town of Puerto Natales. Enjoy this picturesque village and continue tour to Punta Arenas. Explore Punta Arenas.
DAY 10 – Ushuaia
After breakfast departure to the Island of Tierra del Fuego by BUS & Ferry across the Magellan Strait. Arrive to Ushuaia.
DAY 11 – Tierra del Fuego Nat. Park
After breakfast drive to Tierra del Fuego National Park, close to the border of Chile with spectacular scenery of Andes. Box – lunch. Walk among the woods of the National Park and enjoy a canoe ride on this isolated place and local wildlife.
DAY 12 – Buenos Aires
After breakfast boat trip to Beagle Channel. Transfer to the Ushuaia Airport for flight. Arrive to Buenos Aires. Transfer to Hotel.
DAY 13 – After breakfast transfer to Ezeiza International Airport for your flight back home.
