Day 01: Arrival Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, Excel Travel representative welcomes and assists you through the immigration process. We can assist to issue Egypt entry visa upon arrival to Cairo.
Transfer from Cairo airport to hotel by a deluxe A/C coach for check in & refreshment.
Evening, transfer to have dinner in local restaurant and then back to hotel.

Day 02 : Pyramids of Giza and Egyptian museum
Breakfast at the hotel in Cairo then start a guided tour to visit one of the Seven Wonders the great Pyramids of Giza; (Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus). The Cheops Pyramid is more interesting, because its interior burial chambers are open for inspection by the public. Not far from the Pyramids is the Great Sphinx of Giza, which dates from the time of Chephren, this unforgettable statue combines the head of a Pharaoh with a lion’s body. A quick visit to papyrus institute or a perfume shop can be arranged after the visit.
Have lunch in local restaurant and continue the tour to visit the Egyptian Museum. The museum exhibited collections ranges from pre-historic era to the Greco Roman period. It has 107 halls, and the ground floor houses huge statues. The museum also comprises of a photography section and large library.
After the visit a short drive will take you to Khan El Khalili bazaars; which is one of the most famous worldwide with its amazing narrow alleyways. The bazaar is the domain of shopkeepers and tourists. Jewelers, items made from copper, parquetry boxes, semi-precious stones, rugs, and other souvenirs.
Drive back to your hotel in Cairo for refreshment.
Evening, transfer to have dinner in local restaurant and then back to hotel.

Day 03 : Cairo – Aswan
Breakfast in the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Duration of the flight is around 80 minutes.
Arrive Aswan airport, meet Excel representative and transfer to the Nile Cruise for Check in on board and have lunch on board
Visit the High Dam and Philae temple with a local English-speaking guide.
High Dam: is certainly not the largest in the world, it is an impressive engineering feat nonetheless, over 360 feet tall and 12,500 feet across. The dam was completed in 1971 and the huge reservoir behind it, named for President Nasser.
Philae Temple: This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam and you must ride a water taxi to the island to get to theruins.

Day 04: Aswan – Kom Ombo

Visit Kom Ombo temple.
Kom Ombo Temple: it is the third major stop that most of the Nile cruises between Luxor and Aswan, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the riverbank.

Day 05: Edfu – Luxor

Visit Horus temple in Edfu
Edfu Temple: it is the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic temple in Egypt, the extraordinary Temple of Horus at Edfu. It is located in the center of the town of Edfu.

Visit East bank of Luxor (Luxor temple and Karnak temples)
Karnak Temple: Built over a period of two millennia by generations of Pharaohs. Temple of Karnak was dedicated to the God Amun. It could take days to explore all of the numerous pylons, obelisks and smaller temples within.
Luxor Temple: it was once connected to Karnak via the Avenue of Human-headed Sphinxes, almost 3 kilometers in length. It is considered as a mark of Ancient Egyptian civilization, strikingly graceful monument in the heart of modern Luxor. It is one of the best-preserved of all of the ancient monuments making it one of the most impressive places to visit in the Luxor area and all of Egypt.

Day 06: Luxor – Cairo
Early morning, AN OPTIONAL TOUR to enjoy riding Hot air balloon at the West bank of Luxor. (Supplement = 90.00 USD per person).
Balloon Air Luxor: For unbeatable views of Luxor’s famous temples, take a hot-air balloon flight over the Nile River’s west bank. Away from the crowds in the peaceful glow of dawn, your sunrise flight over Egypt’s ancient monuments promises to be a highlight of your visit. This ride takes 45 minutes.

Then start a guided tour to visit West bank of Luxor (Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut temple and Colossi of Memnon).
Valley of the Kings: a vast City of the Dead where magnificent tombs were carved into the desert rocks, as it was used for royal burials for the Kings. It is the most famous site for having unique collections of tombs and breathtaking ancient ruins. Entrance of 03 tombs from inside is included (Ramses I, Ramses IX and Merenptah).
Hatshepsut Temple: Rising out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Ancient Egypt’s only female Pharaoh) merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it, as if nature herself had built this extraordinary monument.
Colossi of Memnon: On the way back to the river Nile, your road passes by the famed Colossi of Memnon, known in Ancient Greek times for their haunting voices at dawn. They were constructed as guardians for Amenhotep III’s mortuary complex.
Finish the tour and transfer to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo.
NB. this flight should be after 01:00 pm in order to have time to enjoy tour of west bank. Duration of flight is around 70 minutes.

Day 07: Alexandria
Early breakfast at the hotel in Cairo then transfer to Alexandria via the desert road –about 225 km– whereby you will start a guided tour to visit the Bombay’s’ pillars, the Catacombs and Roman Amphitheatre. Passing by Alexandrina Bibliotheca & overview Qaite Bay citadel from outside and have lunch in local restaurant during the tour.
Pompeii Column and Kom el-Shuqafa Catacombs Thirty meters high and built from Aswan pink granite, the Pompeii Column is thought to have been a present from the people of Alexandria to Emperor Diocletian. The majority of the remains found around the column can be been at the Greco-Roman Museum. At the top of the hill lies the entrance to the Kom al-Shuqafa Catacombs dating from the first and second centuries.
Drive back to Cairo, and transfer to have dinner in local restaurant and then transfer to your hotel for refreshment.
