  • Zagreb – Ljubljana – Plitvice – Split – Trogir – Dubrovnik

 

Day 1, Friday, Zagreb –arrival
Arrival at Zagreb airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Zagreb.

Day 2, Saturday, Zagreb – Ljubljana
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning meeting at the hotel lobby with our local guide and start with a panorama tour by bus where will see the most important Zagreb’s sites. This panorama tour will end in the front of the Cathedral where we will continue our city tour by walk. This part of the city tour will include the upper town with St. Mark’s church, the most important governmental buildings – the Parliament, the Government palace. After the upper town we will continue and see the green market Dolac and the main central square of Ban Jelacic.
In the afternoon we will visit the Croatian neighbor country Slovenia and its capital city – Ljubljana. We meet our local guide and start the visit of the city and its most significant sights such are the central open air market, the triple bridge, both designed by the famous architect Joze Plecnik, the town hall and Robba’s fountain.
Return to Zagreb and overnight at the hotel. (b)

Day 3, Monday, Zagreb – Plitvice – Split
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards Plitvice National Park.
Visit of Plitvice lakes with your tour guide.
Continue to Split, the second largest city of Croatia.
Overnight at the hotel. (b)

Day 4, Tuesday, Split
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your local guide and visit of Split, city under Unesco protection including Diocletian’s palace, it’s most famous monument. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (b)

Day 5, Wednesday, Trogir – Dubrovnik
After the breakfast we will leave Split towards Trogir. Our city tour will include the visit of the Cathedral. Some free time and afterwards departure towards the south of the Croatian coast, passing by Makarska riviera.
Arrival in Dubrovnik, check in and overnight. (b)

Day 6, Thursday, Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel towards the “old town” where we will meet our local guide and see the most important monuments of this city known as “the pearl of the Adriatic”. We will visit the Rector palace and the Franciscan monastery with the most ancient pharmacy in the world.
The afternoon is at leisure. You can continue to explore this beautiful city. Overnight at the hotel. (b)

Day 7, Friday, Dubrovnik
Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure or you can participate in an optional excursion proposed by your tour director. Overnight at the hotel. (b)

Day 8, Saturday, Dubrovnik – departure
Breakfast at the hotel. If you leave today, transfer to the airport of Dubrovnik. (b)
