Samarkand, Bukhara, & Tashkent

Start your journey in Samarkand. Get up close to silkworms when you visit a silk carpet factory. Learn the whole process from unwinding the silkworm cocoons to the intricate weaving of patterns. The carpets in the factory are crafted with techniques passed down through generations.

In Bukhara, explore marvelous monuments: 

Laybi-Hauz, Ark-Citadel –a residence of Bukhara khans, a massive fortress, built around the 5th century AD.
Bolo-Hauz Mosque, built in the 17th century, the mausoleum of Ismail Samani, one of the most ancient monuments in the city.

Explore one of the biggest bazaars of Uzbekistan – Chorsu in Tashkent and try plov in Besh Qozon near Tashkent TV tower.
