Enjoy Lviv from the bird’s-eye view (from the observation platform of Mount High Castle), ancient Galician temples located in Podzamcze district, St. George’s Cathedral. Lunch at the city restaurant (optional). Museum of national architecture and life. Lviv Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life is an open-air museum containing 120 monuments of folk architecture including six wooden churches. Hardly any museum in the world can boast so many religious buildings. The open-air museum is located on a 50-hectare land plot in the picturesque part of the city – Shevchenkivsky Hay (Shevchenko Park). Unbelievably beautiful wooden houses and churches of the past ages create a genuine atmosphere of Ukrainian villages from different regions of the country – the lands of Boykos, Lemkos, Hutsuls, as well as Bukovina and the Transcarpathian Region. Breakfast in the hotel. The memorial Lychakiv cemetery. The cemetery of Lytschkiv is one of the oldest graveyards in Europe, dating from 1567. Lviv’s most prominent graveyard now is an open air museum and more than that: a “gallery of art work”, showing graves of many renowned personalities of the Ukrainian and polish culture and sciennces, like Iwan Franko, Solomija Kruschelnyzka, Volodymyr Ivasjuk, Markijan Schaschkevytsch, Gabriela Zapolska, Stefan Banach, Maria Konopnicka and many others. Kiev city tour. During panoramic city tour we will show you Kiev the capital of Ukraine. It is a beautiful city with its centuries-old history and rich culture. The tour includes visit to Vladimir’s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late XIX c. decorated by world well-known artists. Lunch at the Ukrainian restaurant (optional).
National Kiev-Pechersk Cave Monastery Historical and Cultural Reserve with visit Museum of Micro miniatures. Our full day tour will take you fist to the National Kiev Pechersk Caves’ Monastery
Historical and Cultural Reserve. The monastery was set up in the mid XI century A.D.
It is one of the most ancient monasteries on the territory of Eastern Slavonic states.
